Base Camp is first and foremost a boutique, frequented by young people from the neighborhood and beyond for its wide selection of beers from all over the Czech Republic (and beyond!). The owner has a predilection for microbrews (there are almost 500 in the Czech Republic), so it's an opportunity to make some great discoveries. But you can also linger and drink on the spot: the premises are tiny and quickly fill up in the late evening, and there are often pleasant, relaxed encounters with the regulars.
