This Best Western hotel is a combination of two beautiful historic buildings, and its rooms have been designed in Art Deco and Biedermeier styles. The Biedermeier-style building, dating from 1880, was originally a tenant farmer's house, where the famous Czech writer Jaroslav Hašek, author of Brave Soldier Švejk, was born. The other part of the hotel dates from the early 20th century. Some rooms offer a magnificent view of the capital. There's a lovely terrace in the courtyard for breakfasts and meals.

Gutes Mittelklassehotel sauber und gepflegt freundliches Personal, allerdings ist der frühstücksraum sehr klein und es kommt gelegentlich zu Wartezeiten, etwas laut beim Frühstück, Auswahl für uns völlig ausreichend. Es gab von allem etwas, immer wieder wurde nachgelegt und aufgefüllt. Kaffee aus Automaten mit frischen Bohnen, Säfte eher nicht so lecker viel zu süß und kommen aus dem tetra Park.
Alles in allem Gutes hotel sehr zentral gelegen alles zu Fuß erreichbar. 15 min zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt.
Wir würden das hotel wieder buchen.

Very nice place. Tidy and clean rooms, good breakfast and location is great - you can explore the whole old town by walking with ease. Special mention goes to 7th floor terrace, great place to have one beer in the evening and admire the Prague at night.
