This residence, which dates from the 16th century, was that of the famous Prague architect of the same name and has retained its period decorations.

Dating back to the ^16th century, it was the home of the eponymous Prague architect, whose work includes the Villa Amerika and the façade of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, and has preserved its splendid period decorations. The rooms are simple, but the setting and charm of the small inner courtyard lend a warm, friendly character to this historic building, in the heart of Prague's most beautiful district. Book well in advance, as the number of places is limited and the reputation of this address is well established... hence the astronomical prices!

The location in the historic centre is excellent. The guy running the premise is a nice and helpful man. The building, however, is rather old and not in the best shape. Perhaps I'm sensitive on that, but I all the time felt somehow dust and wetness. Our apartment had a large room with a double bed and a reasonably-sized room with a single bed plus a small entrance hall and a huge bathroom. All equipment rather old and very basic, loudly squeaking wooden floor, not even a TV set was available, half of the bulbs not working, but still reasonably clear (I just had to remove some dust from one of the cases). Breakfast very basic, sometimes with rather old and hard pastry, the dining room cold and with some feeling of wetness. The price was, however, favourable for the location.

Skvelý tichý penzión priamo v centre Prahy. Vybavenie izieb je čisté, páči sa mi rodinná atmosféra. V penzióne je aj výťah, čo nám veľmi uľahčilo pobyt s bábätkom, ktoré bolo v kočíku.
Lokalita je tichá, akoby sme neboli v centre mesta.
Raňajky formou studeného bufetu sú čerstvé, ale na nižšej úrovni, nie ste v hoteli intercontinental. Takže za mňa penzión má skvelé hodnotenie za pomer cena kvalita, dostupnosť do centra.

Servizio inesistente, non rifanno le stanze e non puliscono i bagni. Asciugamani cambiati solo dopo nostra insistenza, bisognava buttarli per terra per essere cambiati ma non era scritto da nessuna parte.
Bagno con minivasca, facendo la doccia si creava un lago.
Colazione buona ma solo salata.
Gestore simpatico.
