At the beginning of the promenade, this is perhaps the best address in the port, if not one of the best on the island. The setting at the water's edge is very romantic. The cuisine is refined and the service impeccable. You choose fresh fish from the window, caught in the morning (count 60 euros per kilo but excellently prepared). The paella with fresh seafood is to die for! In addition, a desert and a liqueur are offered with the bill! In summer, almost all the tables are booked, so think of doing so to taste this succulent cuisine of Kefalonia.

We have dined here several times and have always eaten fresh fish and seafood at reasonable prices. Our recommendation: swordfish steak! Despite some exterior renovations, the kitchen has not moved and remains good, with a touch of originality, and generous portions. Try zucchini croquettes, local langoustines, lobster spaghetti, meat pie or the hearty "Vasso's" salad. Beautiful wine list and impeccable service. The staff is friendly and professional.

Fresh and home-made products, the speciality is fish and shellfish but there is something for everyone! The feet in the water, you can also have a drink or breakfast. The place is beautiful with a fast service and very friendly staff. There are also a few rooms for rent here from €60. Great value for money for insiders only in season, but always ask.

On the port of Poros, facing the sea, Apagio is known to regulars and locals alike. The fish and shellfish are excellent. But you can also taste the cooked dishes: stuffed tomatoes, baked lamb, beef simmered with small onions... The house wine is very good and the owners like to offer a homemade liqueur made from geranium leaves. In short, a very good table for seafood (and not only), a very good welcome and the promise of a good time on the port in front of the pleasure boats.

The arrival of Michelin-starred chef Lefteris Lazarou - formerly of the prestigious Varoulko in Piraeus - has not gone unnoticed. Here, tables sprawl across the picturesque harbor, laden with fish specialties. Among her creations are marvellous garlic shrimps with wine sauce, cherry tomatoes and olive oil. We also love his wild artichoke fillets or soups, depending on the season. Alternatively, you can rediscover his talent a few meters away at Tra Due, on Kavvadia Square, where the chef serves specialties with a more Italian accent.
