BEACHES

Schinoussa is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Lesser Cyclades and beyond. All of them can be reached on foot in a maximum of 40 minutes from Chora (easy walking).

Tsigouri is the closest beach to Chora. A long sandy bay, it is sometimes a little exposed to the wind but is very pleasant. Shaded by large tamarisk trees, it also has a beach bar.

Livadi, on the other side of a cape that separates it from Tsigouri, is another large sandy bay that offers more or less the same advantages as its neighbor. There you will find shade (large tamarisk trees) and a pleasant tavern.

Almiros, on the opposite coast, is composed of two successive beaches of unique beauty. Wild, sandy and with turquoise waters, their bottoms are not very deep. Exposed, waves can form on certain days. They are shaded in some places by large tamarisk trees.

Lioliou is the last beach of the southern tip. Shallow for many meters, it looks like a lagoon. It is especially appreciated by families for its long stretch of sand, its tamarisk trees, its shallow waters and its tavern. To the right of the beach, a path will lead you to more private coves.

The small beach of Kambos, opposite Lioliou, offers no shade and deep waters. If you go north along the hillside and fields, you will find several small, wild and sandy coves that are not very popular.

Psili Ammos, on the northeast coast, is a paradise of fine sand. Wild, the beach seems to be an end of the world guarded by some giant tamarisk trees.
