Yellow and inspired by the theme of pirates, the Dimitris tavern is the last of the five establishments located by the sea, on the bay of Ammoudi. After descending the 500 steps of Oia to the bay, enjoy a typical meal and relax as you listen to the swirling water right under your feet. The restaurant serves a wide variety of grilled fish, seafood... What was caught the same day is displayed in a window in the restaurant's kitchen, and you can come and choose what will end up on your plate.

Poisson frais délicieux. Idéal pour profiter d'un coucher de soleil au port d'Ammoudi, un peu à l'écart des autres clients si vous avez un peu de chance.

Δοκιμάστε μελιτζανοσαλάτα, πατάτες τηγανιτές κομμένες στο χέρι, και μύδια στον ατμό.

Situato giù a Oia (per raggiungerlo avete da fare o la scalinata o arrivare in auto e sperare nel miracolo del parcheggio libero) si affaccia sul mare. Anzi a dir la verità è praticamente così sul mare che alla prima fila, quando arrivava un onda, arrivavano un po di schizzi sul pantaloncino. Location fantastica. Ci accomodiamo dopo aver fatto prenotare dal nostro hotel per tempo (funziona così) e scegliamo una frittura mista (identica a quella fatta in casa, superlativa) e una orata alla griglia da 700gr da dividere (il peso lo concordate con la cameriera). Orata grigliata magistralmente. Accompagniamo tutto con un buon vino bianco (500ml della casa). Chiudiamo con un soufflé al cioccolato con del gelato. Ottima conclusione. Che dire. Uno dei posti migliori a Santorini. Prezzo giusto visto quello che abbiamo mangiato e la location. Non posso mettere video ma spero che le foto rendano.

Die Lage ist natürlich unschlagbar, insbesondere zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Team war freundlich, das Essen wurde relstiv schnell serviert, aber auf die Rechnung mussten wir sehr lange warten.
Das Essen ist gut, aber nicht so besonderes, dass wir nochmal herkommen würden. Die Lage zahlt man natürlich mit.
