EXCURSION TO POLYAIGOS

With its 18 km2, it is the largest uninhabited island of the Cyclades. Its name means "the island of many goats", but the goats have deserted the place, just like the inhabitants. Rich in minerals, it has long been coveted by the inhabitants of Kimolos, and has been attributed to the latter since ancient times. Today, nature has taken over and there are unique and preserved endemic species, such as the Mediterranean monk seal. The terrain is difficult for walking, but the beaches are beautiful, to explore by sea cab.
