CHÂTEAU DE PORTABERAUD
Portaberaud, a charming private residence, is open to the public for visits to its gardens with ironwork, chapel and statues.
The gardens and chapel of this charming residence are open to visitors. An18th-century folly, Portabéraud's destiny is linked to Baron Gabriel Mercier, a prominent Riom citizen. He was the first mayor of Mozac in 1790. Wrought ironwork in the gardens, a chapel with painted medallions and a remarkable tribune, terracotta statues... Portabéraud is a popular venue for festive receptions, in the enfilade salons, on the covered terrace and in the garden. Open in June for the Rendez-vous in the garden and in September for the Heritage Days.
