With two entrances (one from the road leading to the square and the other from Methoni Castle), the tavern offers a wide range of well-cooked Greek dishes made with local ingredients and homemade olive oil. The meat, cooked to order, melts in the mouth. Classics include anchovies marinated in fennel, zucchini flowers with rice and raisins, tomato and caper tart or lamb coated in vegetable phyllo dough. Excellent service in the paved inner courtyard, under a huge arbour.
