Family run tavern-restaurant with terrace in Athens offering vegetarian dishes and varied cuisine.

Family owned tavern-restaurant since 1974. Chrissoula grew up in this restaurant that belonged to her parents. Today, she is the owner of this charming place. You can see her terrace at the corner of Lissiou and Erechtheos streets, which is slightly sloping. But it is in the cosy room with warm tones that we prefer to taste her specialties: fresh fish of the day, mussels, fried food, a wide choice of hot or cold homemade appetizers, fresh meat (not frozen, only squid and octopus are). Various vegetarian dishes.

Great little place by the highway. Friendly service and quality local food. Don’t miss the fried eggplant. It was delicious when paired with feta.

Wunderbare original griechische Taverne direkt in der Plaka.Sehr leckerer Fisch und am Wochenende live Musik.Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Preise etwas hoch,aber man ist direkt mitten in Athen.Wir können es empfehlen.

Ci siamo addentrati in questo ristorante quasi per caso e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Ci siamo seduti all' aperto. La salsa Tzatziki che ci hanno portato penso che sia più buona che abbia mai mangiato! Le patate sono fatte a regola d'arte. Abbiamo ordinato inoltre un ottima moussaka davvero eccezionale e un souvlaki e un insalata greca nella norma. Servizio buono e attento, prezzo nella norma. Consiglio il posto per assaggiare la salsa Tzatziki e la Moussaka.

Περιπλανόμενος στη Πλάκα και αφού έχω περάσει από αρκετά εστιατόρια της περιοχής, αποφάσισα σήμερα με κριτήριο τη καλή ρακή!
Στο κατάστημα με διαβεβαίωσαν ότι την έχουν. Δεν έλεγαν ψέματα. Η ρακή φανταστική!
Από πιάτα λόγω και των ημερών, η παραγγελία είχε σαγανάκι μύδια και γαρίδες, τυροκαυτερή, φάβα και καλαμαράκια. Το σαγανάκι με φρέσκια ντομάτα αρκετά ελαφρύ και γευστικό. Η φάβα καταπληκτική και τα καλαμαράκια επίσης καταπληκτικά, θα έλεγα επαγγελματικά στην εκτέλεση! Η τυροκαυτερή συνόδευε υπέροχα το σαγανάκι και τα ψημένα ψωμάκια με λάδι και ρίγανη.
Και όλα αυτά μαζί με τους ήχους ζωντανής μουσικής από το κατάστημα του δείπνου αλλά και των παρακείμενων, συνόδευσαν την υπέροχη Ρακή ????
Υποθέτω στη συγκεκριμένη περιοχή λόγω και της αυξημένης ζήτησης δουλεύουν έμπειροι στις κουζίνες. Να είστε καλά! περάσαμε υπέροχα.
