Aquarium of Fort St. John with various species of fish from the Adriatic in its seawater pools.
Not very big, but if you are a family with young children, a visit to the aquarium of Fort St. John is a good idea (also to escape the summer heat inside the walls). Fish from the Adriatic are splashing around in pools filled with sea water: eels, starfish, seahorses and many other local species can be seen. The place is run by the University of Dubrovnik and also serves as a rehabilitation centre for injured sea turtles. Explanations in English.
