The two Buža Bars have become must-sees in Dubrovnik, and although they are not strictly speaking beaches, they are perfect for a mid-day dip. So head to the old town, behind St Ignatius Church (to the south). Look for the gate that leads beyond the ramparts, on the rocks. In both cases, a ladder leads to the sea. See the descriptions of these bars in the "Going out" section. Good for cooling off, not so good for sunbathing!
