Church with a fountain in Makarska with an interesting set of sculptures and paintings.
In a square with a very village-like atmosphere, guarded by the statue of the poet Andrija Kačić Miošić, the church of Saint Mark (17th century) has an interesting collection of sculptures and paintings. The altar is the work of a Venetian sculptor, Pietro Onighi. The fountain in front of the church dates from the 18th century. All this architectural ensemble bears witness to the city's past. We walk around or we stay there for a few moments to simply soak up the atmosphere.
