Means of transport Split

First passenger port in Croatia. Maritime traffic is dense and well organized. Jadrolinija, Adriatica and SEM-Marina provide the bulk of passenger transport. The Jadrolinija agency (information and purchase of ferry tickets) is located in the ferry terminal. Ferries to and from Ancona and Pescara (Italy), Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar, Rijeka operate all year round (night crossing). The Blue Line company (Splitours agency) now operates low cost ferries between Split and Ancona (with a stop in Hvar).

In Split, between bus, train and boat, there are various ways to get around. From Rijeka, Zadar, Ploče, Zagreb, Podgorica, Budapest, Mostar and Sarajevo, the city is accessible by train. Between Zagreb and Split, the night train with daily sleeping berths is comfortable and quite convenient to save time or even a hotel room. The daytime trains are also comfortable. Good plan, following the right platform like the locals, you arrive directly at the beach Bačvice.

In the extension of Kneza Branimira Avenue, a large marina close to the Zvončac residential area. Its proximity to Trogir and the marina of Kaštel Gomilica is very convenient. Regular buses rotate with the city center of Split at 25 km (4 €) and only 5 km to Trogir (2.70 €). From France, Croatia Airlines, Air France but also Volotea provide many connections throughout the year.
