First passenger port in Croatia. Maritime traffic is dense and well organized. Jadrolinija, Adriatica and SEM-Marina provide the bulk of passenger transport. The Jadrolinija agency (information and purchase of ferry tickets) is located in the ferry terminal. Ferries to and from Ancona and Pescara (Italy), Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar, Rijeka operate all year round (night crossing). The Blue Line company (Splitours agency) now operates low cost ferries between Split and Ancona (with a stop in Hvar).

Super service for all the ferries to the neighbouring islands (among other things Hvar), good value for money and the service is excellent. I have price both types of boat (ferry and fast boat) and for both it was excellent.
Very easy to take a ticket for a ferry management Brac or Hvar.
It is very well organised and crossing is done without worries.
There is even a disco open 24/7 - Imperium- on the port.
Practical for those who failed the last ferry to midnight.
They can expect the heat the first in the morning.
