Set back from the port, where the many restaurants don't shine by their originality, the tavern stands out. A restaurant with inventive cuisine and an excellent reputation. So book in advance. Grilled meats are well prepared. Medium-rare cuts are carved at your table. The same goes for fish or prawn gnocchi, with cheese and fresh truffles, grated in front of you. In the more economical bistro formula, with local wine, cheese planchas, charcuterie (pršut), antipasti, olives, aromatic herbs and homemade bread.

If you're in town, this is a must visit restaurant. I don’t often leave reviews but this restaurant is an exception. Far and away the best meal I’ve had in a myriad of top class places in Croatia. The prices and hefty, but after looking at our 300 Euro bill I left the restaurant with no regrets. We order the A5 Wagyu, the Spanish steak cut and the T Bone which was absolutely excellent and a very reasonable price for such a high quality steak. The mash potatoes on the side and the tuna sashimi for starter were exquisite and the best I’ve ever had in both fields.

The Wagyu is certainly enticing but in my eyes not necessary, as the T Bone tastes just as good for a fraction of the price : fyi our total bill - the wagyu = approximately 200 euro so much more reasonable.

For the desert I had the Panna Cotta, and it was the best desert I’ve ever had. A small portion, but beautifully presented and the taste was excellent. On top of this the 7 euro price is reasonable

Overall this Michelin rated restaurant is an absolute must visit, and I wasn’t the only diner in the restaurant who said they were going to be back!

Well done, I’m usually sceptical of Michelin star places which usually have over engineered food which tastes excessive for edge ‘average’ consumer, however this place gets it right from every angle with simple and delicious food.

Lokal na wysokim poziomie tylko porcje niestety małe i do rachunku doliczają za nakrycie stołu i obsługę kelnerską.
Jedzenie jest bardzo dobre tylko drugie danie to praktycznie przystawka.Ceny dużo wyższe jak u innych w Vidicach.
