Next to the Church of St. Euphemia, this gastronomic restaurant (one Michelin star) is one of the best known in Istria. Its chef, Danijel Dado Đekić, subtly handles local products, for a clever blend of new Croatian cuisine, traditional recipes and local inspiration. Seasonal fruits and vegetables in sweet and savoury versions, tapioca pearls in squid ink, vegetable spaghetti, grilled corn and langoustines in nectarine sauce, scallop skewers with raw mushrooms, ice cream with wild fennel and dark chocolate, vegetarian menu.

High Class Dining in the Old Town of Rovinj. Exquisite food in the most beautiful and extraordinary presentation plus a great selection of local wines. We really enjoyed our evening!

Un endroit merveilleux pour les amoureux d une cuisine créative et l'équilibre des saveurs. Pour démarrer des amuse bouche sublimes qui revisitent les basiques de l'istrie de l'olive à la truffe avec un raffinement gustatif et une explosion des goûts. Le homard aux fruits rouge est juste sublime de la présentation à la dégustation. Le poisson décliné en trois façons est excellent avec un mini calamar juste magique. Suivi d'un ris de veau cuisiné parfaitement avec une sauce au trompette de la mort. Et pour finir un assortiment de mignardises pour la douceur du palet. Merci au chef pour cette merveilleuse découverte culinaires qui mérite amplement son macaron Michelin. Sans oublier un service de qualité et le plaisirs de vous faire partager un beau moment.

Buona cena di pesce in questo ristorante molto elegante ai piedi della cattedrale. Da segnalare il misto di mare come antipasto.

Overall, we were happy. Some excellent dishes. Some dishes are maybe focused a bit much on a clever presentation, while the flavour does not fully meet the expectation. The staff were very kind and pollite, however they were not so well organised. On two occasions, we received our food without wine being served (having a wine pairing menu). We had to remind them of this and wait. With some simple steps, they could lift the experience. But dont get me wrong, we had a very enjoyable evening!
