Museum presenting numerous archaeological objects collected during land excavations in the historical center of Pula.
Right next to the large archaeological museum, housed in the Royal Gymnasium (1890) but closed for years, this gallery fills a gap. Based on the plan of an octagonal mausoleum, hence the name Galerija 8, the space has been open since 2013. Inside, archaeological artefacts are on display, collected during excavations of the historic center, the port, the locality of Nesactium and underwater diving (Brioni archipelago). Here, prehistory, Roman antiquity, the Middle Ages and contemporary art all come together.
