The fort has a café-bar-restaurant with a terrace at the top and an aquarium that organizes cultural and festive events.
Verudela Fort, designed according to the Austro-Hungarian defence system (19th century), now houses an aquarium. The marine environment specific to the Adriatic, with 211 species, is shown on two levels. The three rooms reserved for injured turtles caught in the nets of local fishermen are particularly moving. Climb to the top of the building to admire the view of the sea and the historic city, enjoy the terrace and the café-bar-restaurant. Regularly, the Aquarium organizes cultural or festive events.

Très bien situé dans un ancien chateau fort, il n'est malheureusement pas le mieux garni en poisson. J'ai beaucoup apprécié les méduses ce qui n'est pas fréquent dans les aquarium classique.
