Güvercin Ada, literally "Pigeon Island" is the name given by the Ottomans to the small island located at the end of the harbor that hosts the huge liners. The Pigeon Island is now accessible by a dike until 1am. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the port to the island. The place is home to several gardens and bars that offer good prices. It is ideal to have a panoramic view of the city. The bar at the top right of the small fortress offers unforgettable sunsets.
