It dominates the entrance to the Black Sea. This Byzantine fortress became Ottoman, under Yıldırım Beyazıt (1389-1402). With a length of 500 m and a width of 30 m to 60 m, it will be restored and equipped with a small mosque as part of a large programme undertaken by the Sultan Bayazıt II (1481-1512). The easiest way to get there: via Anadolu Kavağı. Next to the fortress is a café-restaurant with a magnificent view of the Bosporus.

this fortress is on a hill and overlooks the entrance of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea, very beautiful view, they are ruins but a lot of charm. To get there, a path in the sun, remember to take water! Otherwise there is always kids who sell some.
