Near the Embarcadère pier. The guard does not leave visitors easily. insist if necessary. The church was founded by Emperor Nicolas Canabée in 1204, just before the Latin occupation. It served as a patriarchal church in the 1729 th century before the fire of, which burned down the entire Quartier district. The Patriarchate, rebuilt in 1730, is not part of the building buildings, composed today of a school and Ayazma Ilyas. Several value icons are attached to iconostasis: Saint Tryphon, Saint Dimitri, Saint John Baptiste, etc. The panels, on the gallery, represent the history of Christ, whose Holy Supper is in the centre. The church was completely restored in 1995.
