The charming hotel with a superb wooden facade is located next to Hagia Sophia, which can be seen from some rooms. Most of the rooms are medium sized (28 in all) and decorated in the pure traditional Ottoman style of the th century, heavily influenced by Art Nouveau and Baroque. So a little loaded. The restaurant on the terrace (Marmara Roof), from where you can contemplate on one side the sea of Marmara and the other Sainte-Sophie, is very pleasant. We greatly appreciated the availability of its director, Mr. Hasan Gülkaynak, and of all staff, very helpful. Free transfer for a stay of more than 4 days.

ideally spot to visit sultanahmet (blue mosque, ste sophia), not too far from the tram, in a lively street restaurants but not too noisy and restaurant with panoramic views, prices decent.

Charming hotel, located between Sainte-Sophie and blue mosque, in a typical street in istanbul's historic district. The restaurant terrace where you can contemplate on one side the Marmara Sea and other Sainte-Sophie levels us a excellent Turkish cuisine.

We liked the availability of staff, very helpful and smiling staff, always ready to help.
