St. Croix Hospital Center regrouping the different health services of the city
This huge complex served as the city's hospital until the 1920s. Its construction began in the 15th century, but it was not completed until the 18th century. It mixes Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Today it houses the Library of Catalonia and other cultural institutions of the region. On the upper floor of the complex, you will see the old hospital wards, a large space now covered with books!

à visiter absolument
l'ancien hôpital santa creu est un bel exemple du modernisme. La visite se fait à son rythme et les objets anciens exposés dans les différents bâtiments nous font faire un bon dans le temps. Très intéressant et visite agréable

Petite merveille au milieu de l'agitation du centre ville, cet ancien hopital accueille au sein d'un magnifique cloître des arbres et des fontaines, ainsi qu'un café très très accueillant. La bibliothèque sous des grandes voutes de pierre vaut également le détour. Mon endroit préféré à Barcelone !!
