Zoo in Barcelona with thousands of animals.
Founded in 1892, this zoo covers an area of 14 hectares in the Ciutadella Park and is home to thousands of animals. The famous Copita de Nieve (Snowflake), the only albino gorilla in captivity, lived there until his death in 2003. This event deeply marked and saddened the people of Barcelona, who had made the gorilla their mascot. Among the more than 300 species in the zoo, you can visit the mandrills, marmosets, elephants, giraffes, hippos, lions, etc.
