It is the most famous art gallery in the city. Its history dates back to 1840, when Joan Baptista Parés, an art dealer, opened an art supply store, which was officially converted into a gallery in 1877, becoming one of the first in Spain. Works by Santiago Rusiñol, Ramón Casas and even Salvador Dalí have passed through this gallery, which has three spaces to exhibit the creations of the 35 contemporary artists it works with, as well as a historical collection with works by artists it has represented.
