Luxury hotel with rooftop swimming pool a stone's throw from the cathedral in the Barri Gotic district of Barcelona.

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet pedestrian area. It has spacious and soundproofed rooms for your solo, couple or family trips. Try to choose a rate that includes breakfast, which is quite delicious and can be customized. Lunch and dinner can be ordered at the Terrasa 4 Capellans restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy excellent dishes from the Mediterranean cuisine, as well as some tapas and cocktails. In addition, the menu is adapted to special dietary requirements.

Definitely a 4 star hotel. Impeccable rooms, wonderful restaurant and bar for breakfast, cocktail, light meal. Bed was comfortable, air conditioned, tea kettle in each room. Hotel is in the gothic quarter close to Picasso museum, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera as well as the cathedral. Definitely the best place to stay for comfort and location.

Location is great, if a little noisy. Service at the front desk and Restaurant was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful.
The room was spacious, but ordinary. Pillows were very uncomfortable and there were no drawers for clothes so we had to live out of our suitcases.
Coffee provided was instant only and the room attendant didn't replace tea bags or stir sticks for our entire stay of three days which we only discovered late in the evenings.

Restaurante dentro del hotel. Platos sencillos pero muy buenos. La atención del servicio muy buena. Hubo un error en la cocina con el segundo plato y enseguida se disculparon. Nos invitaron a chupito. Volveremos.

A mixed review about this hotel. We travelled end of March 2024.
Pros:
1. PRIME location, really central and easy to get to everything. (The Chocolat Box right outside is awesome)
2. Staff are very very friendly and helpful.
3. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean.

Cons:
1. Due to the centrality of the hotel, it is EXTREMELY noisy outside into late hours of the night/early morning. There were garbage trucks collecting recycling at 11:30pm. Didn’t get a thorough night’s sleep once in my 2 week stay.
2. The aircons didn’t work - they only switch the aircons on in May for the summer so we had to have our balcony door open all the time for fresh air.
3. In one of our rooms the balcony door couldn’t open because it was broken
4. The wifi was SO weak.

too expensive for the services they provide. For 235€ per night you get a very large and comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, a very good breakfast but also a small room, no slippers, no smart TV and a disappointing view of the backyard of the hotel. However the most important, dangerous and inexcusable issue was the fact that the switch of the light on the bedside table was damaged, leaving the the connection wires bare and unprotected! We didn't get electrocuted by pure luck because i wanted to charge my watch and so i noticed it before i try to turn off the light.
Not happy at all with our stay here.
