Brilliant location absolutely lovely hotel with amazing staff. Breakfast buffet is great and good value

The location is the biggest advantage of Hotel Gotico. It is located in the gothic quarter, and you are able to easily access placa de cataluna, barceloneta beach, and la rambla by walking about 15 minutes. You can also walk up the la diagonal in 30 minutes, although the Jaume I metro station was incredibly easy to use as well, with it only being 20 metres away from the hotel. The only time we needed to call a taxi was when we went to park guell and to/from the airport.

There is nothing to complain about when it comes to the service, but it wasn’t anything exeplary.

The shower was a little low quality and took a long time to warm up, which is most likely the only negative about the room. Other than that the bathroom was divided, and the bedroom itself was big enough to accommodate three people very comfortably.

Overall we really enjoyed the stay here and this hotel really gives a good performance compared to its low price.

I'm arriving at the hotel quite late. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk went to reception. Asked for milk. There is no milk. They have no milk walked around? Looking for shops open? None open couldn't have a nice cup of tea after a long journey. They Could not be bothered to go to the kitchen and get some milk which was plentiful at breakfast.????????

Nice hotel, staff was very nice and greeted every time I came in. I was lucky enough to get a room which opened into a dead space so no noise and no sun in the eyes early morning. Room was very clean. Great breakfast.

Location is great. However I had four issues. Firstly and the most annoying issue is that the room was way too hot. There is no way to regulate temperature - you either have hear or AC - and it was too early for that according to the staff. I could not sleep at all for the 3 nights and the hotel is not cheap. When I asked, I was told to open the doors, which is ridiculous as it it right in front of a very busy and noisy street. Secondly, the internet was an issue. Each day of my 3 day stay I had to go down to the lobby and get a new user number and PW. Weird. Thirdly, they give you a small mineral bottle water but only 1 for each stay - even if you are there for 10 days! Seriously? That cheap? Lastly, I asked if I could extend my stay for 30-minutes and the answer was no - we are full and need the rooms to clean. Does 30-minutes really make that much of a difference. So sad! I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. I am a retired executive and have been to hundreds of hotels world-wide, this was by far the worst!

Είχαμε διαμονή 4 νύκτες δε δίκλινο δωμάτιο. Στα θετικά:
Βρίσκεται σε κεντρικό σημείο κι έτσι μπορείς να επισκεφτείς πολλά ενδιαφέροντα ακόμη και με τα πόδια.
Όλοι οι χώροι καθαροί, όπως και το δωμάτιο διαμονής μας.
Το προσωπικό με χαμόγελο, ευγένεια και προθυμία μας έδωσε τις πληροφορίες που θέλαμε.
Πλούσιο πρωινό με μπουφέ για όλα τα γούστα.
Στα αρνητικά: Δεν είχε αρκετό φυσικό φωτισμό καθότι είχε μικρό παράθυρο προς τον φωταγωγό. Επίσης είχαμε την αίσθηση ότι δεν αερίζεται σωστά ο χώρος!

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti …camere pulite solo che non c’ è’ bidet e bagno senza finestra.. c’è’ solo una piccola finestra in camera …altra cosa quando siamo arrivati avevamo pagato la tassa di soggiorno turistica in contanti con firma dopo due giorni un addetto e’ venuto a dire che non avevamo pagato ancora la tassa di soggiorno e dovevamo pagarla abbiamo esposto il problema dicendo che avevamo pagato già quando erano arrivati ma siccome l addetto non aveva scritto sul computer il nostro pagamento abbiamo dovuto ripagare …assurdo

Todos los que trabajan ahí son muy amables. Solo que los cuartos huelen un poco raro. Está ubicado en un súper lugar. Vale la pena quedarse ahí..

This hotel definitely doesn’t qualify as a 4 stars hotel.
The beds are not comfy at all & the blanket is a disaster; It’s made from synthetic material and not comfy at all.
On top of that, there’s no bedside lamp or light.

Rooms in general are super basic, dull & depressing and with barely any amenities.

Towels in the bathroom are worn out , one of the towels actually had a hole!

There’s no bathtub, gym, sauna, spa or pool.

Only pro is the location, it’s close to city center and beaches as well.
Also, The staff are nice & helpful.

ツアーで利用致しました。とても便利な立地でスタッフさんも大変感じが良かったです。
また、朝食もとても美味しく、特にデザートが美味しかったです。1泊だけだったのが残念なくらいでした。

Three times I have stayed at Hotel Gotico. Each time for a week. I cannot fault this wonderful boutique hotel. Ideally situated in the heart of the Gothic District almost everything is within a short walks distance. Barcelona Cathedral, Frederic Mares Museum, Picasso Museum, Place De Catalunya, The Port, Las Ramblas, Picasso Museum, The Markets.
The room is super comfortable and serviced daily. The breakfast is wonderful and great value for money. Small enough to be personable large enough to be anonymous. 24 hour service that is impeccable.

Hôtel charmant, très bien localisé. Proche du métro et les sites important a visiter. Je n'ai pas profité des diversités ni le restaurant. Mais les chambres sont spacieuse et tout fonctionne. (Ce n'est pas le cas partout!)

Superb location, good service. I apologize, my first review confused this hotel with the one two nights later. The Gothic have is an exterior room. I found the hotel to be excellent and the location is beyond superb. The room was spacious and modern. Price also excellent.
