Hotel close to the Ciutadella Park, between the beach and the historic centre of Barcelona.

A simple but well-located hostel, right next to the Ciutadella park. It offers about 20 rooms with private or shared bathroom, most of them with a balcony overlooking the street. In summer, the lack of air conditioning is a negative point! Also note that there is no television in the rooms. The whole place is not very young, but we appreciate the strategic location of this establishment, halfway between the beaches and the historical center. The pleasant welcome and the reasonable prices make it a good address.

Chambre propre, calme, fonctionnelle. Bien situé. Personnel agréable. Hostal Nuevo Colon est un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande.

Molt correcte i d’acord amb el preu. Ben situat. Et guarden les maletes sense cap problema. Just davant de l’estació de frança.

Les dejo una valoración en booking de 5 sobre 10, siendo bastante generoso y teniendo en cuenta que me engañaron por el chat y trataron de hacerlo igualmente cuando me atendieron en la recepción... y contestan por ahí (sabiendo que el cliente no puede contestar de nuevo a la respuesta que da el alojamiento a una reseña negativa) mintiendo e inventándose que me ofrecieron una habitación exterior por 5€ más, cuando sí, me la ofrecieron, pero prácticamente por el doble de precio.

Conclusión: evita este sitio, es una trampa para guiris. Ahora igual hasta contestan por aquí diciendo que nunca he sido cliente de ellos, que es lo que suelen hacer con los comentarios negativos para intentar lavar su imagen (algo muy típico de incompetentes y estafadores en Hostelería). Si lo hacen, no me quedará otra que ir a omic y ponerles una reclamación oficial para que vayan a hacerles una inspección, y así igual, hasta me tienen que indemnizar por mentir a los clientes y por publicidad engañosa, tengo pantallazos con la conversación de chat por Booking y con la publicidad engañosa de sus habitaciones individuales en las que no ponen cuánto miden y fotos hechas por mi de la habitación en cuestión. Nunca intentes engañar a alguien que ha trabajado mucho en atención al cliente y en Hostelería y Turismo.
