Quality Mediterranean cuisine in a historic restaurant with terrace and beautiful views of Barcelona.

Located at the foot of the Tibidabo funicular, this century-old restaurant has one of the prettiest terraces in Barcelona. Its Art Nouveau lounges, on the upper floor, offer spectacular views of the city. The menu, which is not very extensive, offers quality Mediterranean cuisine, with a few nods to French gastronomy: vichyssoise, sea urchin au gratin, foie gras with pear jam, arròs (rice) with snails, oxtail... A must for lovers of historical places and traditional cuisine!

It was all going well until the end when they served us a 80€ wine bottle 20 minutes before closing time which was 12:00, a time we weren’t aware of. As soon as 12:00 struck the clock they immediately put the bill on our table, little after that the manager came and said they were closing kicking us out, he repeatedly told us they were closing not listening to our view on the problem, he left and all three of the servers came and started staring at us with unpleasant faces until the manager raised his voice. We spent 100€ per person and expected to be treated better when we had been quite educated and pleasant throughout the meal so we were surprised to be treated in such a manner.

No recomiendo visitar este lugar. la comida no es sabrosa. La comida se servía en platos sucios. todo se cuece en aceite muy viejo. la comida es amarga por el mal aceite. alimentos elaborados con alimentos procesados, sepia congelada. y el precio no es el adecuado. Muy mal. La mesa sin vista. Solo un lavabo. Todo servicio super mal.

Es difícil encontrar un restaurante en Barcelona con una comida tan pésima.
