This unassuming door in a busy Eixample street doesn't hint at the journey that awaits you. A journey of the senses - as suggested by the sign of this two-macaroon restaurant named "Cinq Sens" - guided by the delicacy of chef Jordil Atal and his very aesthetic Catalan cuisine. The man plays on contrasts (sweet/savory, hot/cold, solid/liquid) with an ease and joy that can be felt on the plate.
