Getting around by bus and coach Barcelona

Barcelona North bus station is located in the Eixample district, about 15 minutes walk from Plaça Catalunya. It occupies the site of a former railway station built in 1862, whose main building in neoclassical style is the work of Pere Andrés. It is Barcelona's main bus station, with buses that connect Barcelona with the main cities in the rest of Spain and Europe. Adjacent to its southern facade is a 3-hectare park.

Located right next to the Barcelona-Sants train station (on the left as you exit Plaça de los Països Catalans), this bus station houses the offices of several bus companies operating national and international routes. These include Flixbus, which links major French cities with Barcelona, as well as smaller towns such as Béziers, Dijon, Poitiers, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Avignon, La Rochelle, etc.
