If there is a king of the foul, Ana Misho is the prince of kochery in Alexandria: he is undeniably good... and invigorating! This traditional recipe is made with macaroni, fried onions, brown lentils and tomato sauce, so much so that you will be satisfied at a lower cost! The place is clean and the service efficient: it's a good popular address, you can also order your kochery to go. A little advice, stick to the house specialty and avoid pasta and pizzas that are served in their own oil ..

Same recommendation as in Cairo: ask for the whole thing with eichta (a thick, extremely fragrant milk cream) and raisins. Great choice of charcoal-grilled fish including giant melting shrimps and absolutely delicious crabs. Ideal for a late lunch in the sun but to be avoided in winter, as it is cold. Following a change of ownership, the restaurant no longer serves alcohol.

A very good address where fish is cooked with taste and originality. More refined than most restaurants, Samakmak's cuisine knows just how to dose the quantities of oil, even in the fried dishes, which is rare enough to be noticed! Excellent prawns cooked to perfection and the mezze preceding the main course are just as succulent. Wine and beer are served, which is rare in Anfouchi restaurants. Simple setting, friendly atmosphere and particularly cheerful service.

It's a simple place, but that's all you need to know about the freshness and excellent cooking of the fish. You choose your order from an iced display, then indicate the cooking method you prefer (grilled, fried...).
