Intéressant
Pas très grand comparé à ceux d'Edfou, Louxor ou encore Karnak, mais très intéressant pour en apprendre sur Sobek, le dieu à tête de crocodile. Vous apprendrez son importance dans la mythologie égyptienne ainsi que l'importance du Nil à cette époque. Le musée des crocodiles est aussi intéressant, Vous y verrez des crocodiles momifiés.

MAGNIFIQUE TEMPLE DE KOM OMBO
IL FAUT CONSTRUIT ENTRE 1350 ET 180 AV J.C SOUS LE REGNE DE RAMES II SUR LES RIVES DU NIL. LA DIVINITE PRINCIPALE DU TEMPLE EST SOBEK DIEU A TET DE CROCODILE. AU COUCHER DU SOLEIL UNE CERTAINE MAGIE OPERE EN CES LIEUX. DANS LA CHAPELLE HATOR ON PEUT VOIR DES MOMIES DE CROCODILES. SUR UN MUR EST GRAVE UNE LISTE D'INSTRUMENTS DE CHIRURGIE

Temple de Sobek et d'Haroeris
Si vous voyagez d'Assouan à Luxor, n'hésitez pas à vous arrêter au Temple de Kom-Ombo. On y retrouve des oeuvres en excellentes conditions. Le musée des crocodiles est aussi très intéressant.

Un très beau temple avec un nilomètre encore intacte. Le musée des crocodiles, récemment inauguré est intéressant avec ces momies de Crocodiles.
