El Borg, or "the tower", is located in the middle of the island of Zamalek, between the Nile and the gardens of the Nile Tower, and the Gezira Sporting club whose golf course it dominates. A well located address in a relatively quiet area, yet very close to Tahrir Square (and the Egyptian Museum). The rooms have individual air conditioning and a work area. Each room overlooks the river. The rooftop restaurant Le Gout offers regional dishes. In the 24-hour bar you will find alcoholic drinks.

This is an excellent hotel, certainly a little expensive (€ 120 per night), but which is worth it. Excellent views of the Nile from the rooms overlooking the river, however it is very noisy until 2:00 am at least. Excellent view from the roof of the hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Located on the island of Zamalek, you are 5 minutes' walk from Tahrir square metro station, just a few metres from the hotel, you can reach the pyramids in the metro and bus.
Nice little pool.
