In Swahili, Mahali means "the place". We have no doubt that our little resort is in the best place in Paje, Zanzibar, Tanzania. It is located on the beachfront and has a large swimming pool, air-conditioned rooms and free WIFI. The changing tides of the ocean that bring refreshing winds make Mahali the ideal place for a relaxing and exciting holiday. The hotel has a restaurant with panoramic ocean views, a cozy beach bar and even a private beach strip for ultimate relaxation

Kurz nach der Flut war ich am Strand joggen. Die Anlage ist weiter als die anderen Anlagen zum Wasser gebaut, weshalb das Wasser bis zur Anlage ging. Ich durfte die 15 m der Anlage nicht queren und wurde aufgefordert, doch den Weg über das Inland zu nehmen (ca. 2 km Umweg). Ich wollte hier lediglich die Mauer am Strand queren, keinesfalls jedoch den Garten der Anlage, oder die Anlage selbst betreten!
Beim Abenspaziergang wurden wir dann angehalten und gedrängt, doch die Strandbar zu besuchen.
Mit Sicherheit nicht!
The beach is lovely white sand right in front of the hotel, the hawkers don't bother you and easy to hire a sailing boat with crew for a few dollars for a couple of hours
20 minutes up the road is the blue lagoon and if you have your own car head for the Rock restaurant and you can hire a boat to take you to the lagoon for $30 for the best snorkeling in zanzibar
