Intimate boutique hotel in Stone Town with rooms decorated in an elegant Swahili style with balcony views.

This boutique hotel has just 9 rooms, giving it a very intimate atmosphere. Perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway for two. The rooms are decorated in an elegant Swahili style: king-size beds, very spacious suites with a sofa corner, brightly lit thanks to large windows on the upper floors. Some have balconies with city views. Others have traditional bathrooms with mosaic bathtubs. Some suites are designed for families (up to 4 people).

Luxury room - nadia

The Nadia room (located on the first floor) was where the first guests were welcomed. In Arab culture, the eldest daughter is often called Nadia. That's why we named the room Nadia. This type of room is ideal for those who wish to enjoy all the hotel's facilities and services, but are on a more modest budget. With a surface area of 20 m², the room includes a double bed (twin beds possible), a built-in wardrobe and a sitting area. You'll be seduced by the bright colors of its magnificent local decor, while enjoying all modern comforts. The en-suite bathroom (3 m²) has a washbasin, shower and toilet.

Romantic suite - farizah

The Suite Romantique Farizah (48m2, on the 1st floor) owes its name to the arch inside, since Farizah means Arch in Arabic. Couples and newlyweds be warned: you'll fall in love all over again in this suite! This large, open-plan room offers a romantic, intimate setting. The open-plan bathroom with a huge bathtub (big enough for two) is ideal for couples. The room features a double bed, built-in wardrobe and sitting area. What's more, it has a charming private balcony (11 m²), ideal for enjoying a cup of tea, relaxing and admiring the scenery.

Large suite - kijani

The 48 m² Kijani Suite is located on the first floor. Kijani means "green" in Swahili, and its decoration is based on a green color palette. In theaters, a green room is a space where artists can relax when they're not performing: this suite is ideal for our guests to make the most of their moment of relaxation. It's an apartment-style suite in three parts: the entrance is a large hallway/living room (13 m²), followed by a superb separate bathroom (15 m²) with a large bathtub, washbasin, toilet and open cupboard. Further on is the bedroom (20 m²) with a double bed and a large single bed, as well as a sitting area with a TV corner. We can add an extra bed to accommodate up to 4 people.

Deluxe room - rosewood

The Rosewood room is located on the 2nd floor and features a magnificent rosewood double bed, hence the name. This type of room is ideal for those wishing to enjoy all the hotel's facilities and services, but on a more modest budget. With a surface area of 20 m², the room features a double bed (twin beds not available), built-in wardrobe and sitting area. You'll be seduced by the bright colors of its magnificent local decor, while still offering all modern comforts. The en-suite bathroom (3 m²) has a washbasin, shower and toilet.

Romantic suite - sultana

The Sultana Romantic Suite (48 m2, located on the 2nd floor) will make you feel like a Sultan or Sultana in Zanzibar. Couples and newlyweds be warned: you'll fall in love all over again in this suite! This large, open-plan room offers a romantic and intimate setting. The large 48 m² suite is located on the 2nd floor of the Zanzibar Palace Hotel. Shaba means copper in Kiswahili: a brass bed and decorations in the room have given this magnificent suite its name. Suite palace - sherali

This spacious suite (67 m², located on the 3rd floor), elegantly decorated in Victorian/Zanzibar style, is surrounded by large sliding wooden windows. It overlooks the ocean and the picturesque town of Stone Town. The sea breeze refreshes it day and night. The suite features a double bed, two impressive armchairs and an antique dressing table. The semi-open bathroom (22m²) houses a romantic bathtub for relaxing, a shower, a double washbasin, a double wardrobe and a separate toilet. It's a dream of beauty, luxury and comfort: a wonderful place to stay. We can add an extra bed.

Signature suite - arabica

The 47 m² Arabica Suite is located on the 3rd floor of the Zanzibar Palace Hotel. We gave it this name because of its Arabic-style decoration, which inspired the name of the room. This room has a double bed, a sitting area and a semi-open bathroom (15 m2) with a large shower, two washbasins, toilet and chest of drawers. The comfortable private balcony (5 m²) offers excellent views over the rooftops of Stone Town. This suite offers modern facilities, but still gives you the authentic feeling of being in a "different world". It is possible to add an extra bed.

Honeymoon suite - dunia

Want something special and unique? Then our Dunia suite, which means "the world" in Arabic and Swahili, is for you. This spacious suite (69 m², 3rd floor) features antique Zanzibar furniture, a high king-size sultan bed and a sitting area. There are two balconies. The first, overlooking the city, is adjacent to the room, while the other is one floor higher (4th floor), on the roof. On the roof terrace, you'll find an impressive outdoor bathroom (18 m²), equipped with an oversized Sultan bathtub, shower and toilet. There's also a private terrace (6 m²) overlooking the rooftops of Stone Town. The view is breathtaking: every moment is ideal for admiring the ocean and the old town of Stone Town. Enjoy a coffee in the morning, a cocktail at sunset or a glass of wine in the evening as you gaze up at the starry sky. I can’t fault this place. The staff are amazing , helpful and very friendly. Food is great and and the owner is really nice! The place is in the middle of town short distance from the beach, be prepared to get lost though!

Hôtel très sympa,le personnel est disponible et très attentionné,la situation de l hôtel dans Stone town est très bien pas très loin de Forodhani Park.
Le petit déjeuner est bon, je mettrais juste un bémol pour le lit de ma chambre qui était confortable mais qui a du être conçu pour des personnes très grande car même si je mesure 1,85 cm j ai trouvé qu il était vraiment haut,pour le reste très bon hôtel
