This highly recommendable Franco-Tanzanian agency, which holds the "tourisme équitable et solidaire" label, organizes safaris with highly original home-stay immersion programs, notably in Endallah, a village belonging to the Iraqw community on the heights of Lake Manyara, a rare tribe of Cushitic origin who settled here thousands of years ago from Mesopotamia across the Horn of Africa, and who have preserved a mysterious Arabic language and unique customs. The arrival on foot is a beautiful hike overlooking the lake. We then spend the night with the locals (in a room with bathroom and mosquito net), and with one of the guides we visit the school, the dispensary and one of the few traditional Iraqi houses made of wood and dried mud still standing. The welcome from John Karama and the whole team is sincerely warm, the villagers curious about the visitors and the open-air musical barbecue festive. A unique experience. The Endallah agency organizes other home stays with other northern tribes, such as the Kuria (see their website). These village visits can be combined with safaris in the Serengeti, to a Shangarai village near Arusha in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, or to Mama Polo in the Kuria village of Nyamburi, on the other side of the Serengeti Park from Kenya. The agency also organizes classic safaris throughout mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, and participates in local development projects.

Ce fut pour moi un voyage coup de coeur, entre immersion chez l'habitant et safaris.
Nos guideset les familles sont aux petits soins pour nous. Un grand merci a Marine pour son aide et sa disponibilité avant pendant et après le séjour.
Ce fut tellement un coup de cœur que j'y suis retourné 1 an et demi après en juin 2021 avec mon entreprise à 9 personnes, ce fut également une belle aventure tous ensemble.
