FEYNAN ECOLODGE

Hotel €€

The RSCN demonstrates here that sustainable tourism and a charming establishment are entirely compatible. You can't help but fall in love with the charm of Feynan Ecolodge, where candlelight is used at night. The sand-coloured building blends into the sumptuous surroundings of the Dana Reserve. The 26 rooms are tastefully decorated with a mix of Bedouin tradition, western comfort and oriental touches. After hiking all day, you can relax on one of the terraces or in the large lounge. Many activities are offered here.

DANA TOWER HOTEL

Hotel
4.3/5
4 reviews

It is undoubtedly the cheapest and friendliest address in the village. You can even sleep on the roof for almost nothing. This guesthouse is housed in old houses and has its own atmosphere. The small, often windowless rooms are all decorated differently with objects and photos left behind by previous visitors. Ask to see several of them, as they are quite uneven as well as the bathrooms. Good to know, Nabil, the charming owner, organizes a shuttle from Petra on request.

NAWATEF CAMP

Hotel
4.5/5
2 reviews

This camp located in the heart of the Dana reserve is held by the nice Rasmi who also has the Dana Moon Hotel in the village. For those who prefer camping in nature, this camp is ideal: sleep on comfortable mattresses under traditional Bedouin tents, protected from wind and cold. The comfort is spartan, but it is also the bivouac in nature, and for the price you will not be râlera! All the more so as the food is very good and the 15 Djs are worth for at night, dinner in the evening arriving and breakfast in the morning.

Rasmi knows the reservation in its smallest corners and offers guided walks between 3 and 6 hours per day, on 2 or 3 days, with night or village, or both! Starting with him, you will taste the authenticity of a walk on the reserve, and you will enjoy Jordanian hospitality.

Opened in 2009, this small hotel is a great address: the rooms are simple but comfortable, the bedding is good, the shared bathrooms are nice and clean and the food is excellent. In the evening, a fire is lit in front of the hotel to have tea, smoke hookah and warm up the cool night, all in a friendly atmosphere. Rasmi also has Nawatef Camp in the Dana Reserve. It offers trekking packages with one night's bivouac and one night's hotel accommodation, meals, transport and guide.

DANA'S TRAIL HOTEL

Hotel €€

Dana's latest hotel is a great success. Cleverly located above the village, you can enjoy magnificent mountain views from any room. The building's modern architecture blends perfectly with its surroundings, with its combination of stone and wood. The most beautiful rooms, a little more expensive of course, have a small balcony, where it's imperative to relax as the sun sets. There's also a restaurant with panoramic views, where you can enjoy a meal between two hikes.

DANA GATE LODGE

Hotel €€

Long considered one of Dana's most comfortable alternatives to the Dana Guest House, the Dana Gate Lodge is now suffering from the competition. The hotel remains a safe bet if you want to stay in the village and enjoy its unique atmosphere. It is housed in an old dry-stone house, which lends it charm and authenticity. Unfortunately, the rooms are a little small and the decor leaves much to be desired. On the other hand, the roof terrace is a godsend for admiring the sunset.
