Cheaper guesthouses housed in old houses, offering small, often windowless rooms with a distinctive decor

It is undoubtedly the cheapest and friendliest address in the village. You can even sleep on the roof for almost nothing. This guesthouse is housed in old houses and has its own atmosphere. The small, often windowless rooms are all decorated differently with objects and photos left behind by previous visitors. Ask to see several of them, as they are quite uneven as well as the bathrooms. Good to know, Nabil, the charming owner, organizes a shuttle from Petra on request.

When we get to the village, we say we're going to turn around. Then gradually, the charm operates, and the reception is for many. OK, the meal price is now 7 JOD, but it's excellent, and everyone around a big table is user friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For one person, I paid 34 JOD for 2 nights with 2 meals, without breakfast, for a room with shared SDB. And the Dana valley at your feet is magic!!!

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Accueil chaleureux, personnel Philippin efficace et toujours affairé. Les nombreuses terrasses permettent de s'isoler, comme de faire des rencontres, tout en donnant un cachet charmant au lieu, avec , de plus, de belles vues sur les environs. Très bons repas, à prix très doux. Certaines chambres disposent de WC et de salle d'eau (demander à l'avance!).
