Hotel being the former house of the Echevins, the town councillors of the Middle Ages, a beautiful Renaissance staircase with balusters to admire.
Behind an 18th century facade, seat of the former Historial of the city, one can admire a superb Renaissance staircase with balusters which serves the main buildings around the inner courtyard. This hotel is the former house of the "Échevins", the town's mayors in the Middle Ages. Thomas Bohier was the great treasurer of Louis XI and Charles VIII, he was ennobled by a third king, Louis XII. The Bohier Hotel is listed in the Inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments historiques. A little further on in the rue Pissevin, admire a beautiful gothic door in golden arkose.
