Queen Alia International Airport is located about 35 km south of Amman. Terminal 1 is normally used for Royal Jordanian flights, and Terminal 2 for other airlines. There is a large duty free shop in the transit area, where you can make purchases on arrival and departure. You will find a vending machine even before immigration, as the visa has to be paid in local currency, if you have not got the Jordan Pass.

Aéroport bien conçu, pratique et facile à se répérer (tout est traduit en anglais). Une personne nous attendait au guichet des visas et nous a accompagné jusqu'à notre chauffeur.

J'ai bien aimé de pouvoir changer après minuit mes dinars dans la partie embarquement (duty free), donc après être sûr de ne plus avoir l'usage de monnaie locale. Il m'à été facile aussi de louer et rendre une voiture. Les bureaux sont dans le hall d'arrivée et les voitures tout à côté.
