GARE ROUTIERE D’ABDALI

Bus and coach

The Abdali bus station is located at the foot of the Abdallah Grand Mosque, 2 km from the lower town. Bus, minibus and shared cab services to the airport, the north of the country and neighboring countries have been transferred to the Tabarbour station further north, but JETT buses still leave from here. To get there, take a cab - it costs next to nothing and is the easiest solution (especially if you have luggage). Private buses to neighboring countries also leave from Abdali.

JETT BUS

Bus and coach

JETT serves Jordan's major tourist destinations: Petra, Aqaba, the Dead Sea... Fares are higher than with a minibus or shared cab, but comfort is far superior and schedules are generally respected. So you avoid unpleasant surprises and potential hours of waiting for a minibus to fill up. From Amman, buses leave from Abdali, 7th Circle, Wahadat or Tabarbour, depending on the destination. You can book your ticket directly on the website, but only from Jordan.

GARE ROUTIERE DE WAHADAT - GARE SUD

Bus and coach

This station is located 5 km south of the city and, logically, serves the southern cities of the country: Madaba, Kerak, Ma'in, Ma'an, Talifa, Dana, Petra, Aqaba... For Madaba, you can also take a minibus to Raghadan, but we advise you to go directly to Wahadat as it is on the road. There are shuttle buses to Wahadat from the lower town (near the fruit and vegetable market) or Abdali. By taxi, count 3 DJ from the center.

Bus and coach

Tabarbour station has replaced Abdali station since July 2007 for buses, minibuses and collective taxis going to the north of the country (Jerash, Irbid, Ajloun, Pella...), except for the private JETT buses. It is much further north, far from the center. To get there from the city center, take a taxi, it's the easiest and cheapest way, especially if you have luggage. If you don't like randomness, take the JETT buses which always leave from Abdali at a fixed time.
