BEACH

We move away from the town center to discover Haapsalu beach. It's bordered by a pretty park to the northeast of the historic center. It's also known as the African beach (Aafrika rand)! Not far away, you'll find the Kuursaal, a beautiful green and white building dating back to the beginning of the last century, now transformed into a lively restaurant (only open in summer). Heading north up the seafront promenade, you'll find Haapsalu's harbours - the old one (east) and the new one (west) - and the yacht club.
