TUGLAS MUSEUM

Friedebert Tuglas (1886-1971) was one of the most famous writers in Estonia. This museum will introduce you to his life and work. Tuglas became a well-known writer for his novel Vaike Illimar(Little Illimar), written in 1932. The story of Little Illimar is at the same time the story of a manor in Estonia. The places connected with Friedebert Tuglas and Little Illimar are displayed on a large map, which is also on display in the museum. He is considered one of the founding fathers of contemporary Estonian literature.
