ART MUSEUM (TARTMUS)

Opened in 1940, the museum is housed in the Tomb House dating from 1793. On three floors, one discovers a fine sample of Estonian art from the 20th century to the present day. Famous names are present and the section on the art of the 1980s and 1990s is quite impressive. There are no less than 25,000 works, documents, photographs, etc., which bear witness to the country's artistic wealth. Temporary collections - whose agenda is available on the website - also complete the whole.
