Museum dedicated to the naturalist Karl Ernst von Baer (1792-1876), in the wooden house where he lived, presenting his life and work as a scientist, including his research on plants and birds. In 1827, he discovered the ovum in mammals. His portrait appeared on Estonian two-crown banknotes in the 1990s. The center continues to work on his studies and publishes regularly.
