OPÉRA NATIONAL ESTONIEN

The opera house is located in the Estonian Theatre building, an Art Deco building built in 1913. At that time it was the largest building in the Estonian capital. Heavily damaged during the Second World War, it was renovated right afterwards, in the second half of the 1940s. The programme includes many classical ballets and operas performed by renowned foreign troupes. Tickets are cheap and it is a great opportunity to see a ballet abroad. There are also performances for children.
