Juniper is an integral part of the Estonian landscape and craftsmanship. So it's no surprise to find a gin distillery right in the middle of Telliskivi. It's also a cocktail bar where you can enjoy the house spirits as a simple gin and tonic or in the form of more elaborate cocktails. The Blended Dry Gin is very successful and velvety, but the gins with a local touch (rhubarb or lingonberry) are worth a try. The subdued atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a quiet get-together. Distillery tour available for fans.

Need breakfast or just an early morning coffee? Push open the door to Fika (yes, that's the name of the Swedish snack break). Part coffee bar, part bakery, it's impossible to resist the aroma of percolating Arabica and freshly baked pastries and cinnamon rolls. Do you like it salty? There's toast too. The cheerful, relaxed decor with its large hanging light makes you feel right at home. If you've got a train to catch, Fika is just a stone's throw from the station.

This ceramist's studio is also a charming café nestled on the long descent from Pikk Jälg to the old town. Its inner courtyard is enchanting in summer, and in winter, the café's interior is warm and inviting with its antique furniture and old stonework. No, rock'n'roll is not and certainly not dead at Barbar. This bar organizes rock and heavy metal concerts every Friday and Saturday, and has built up quite a reputation for the quality of its programming. But it also organizes events (including the "black market"), parties... In a pub-style atmosphere with its big wooden tables, the decibels hum and the beer (quality, the menu isn't bad) flows freely in a joyful and convivial atmosphere. At Sessel, the cocktails are really well thought-out and well-balanced, and if you're here in winter, they make, in our opinion, the best mulled wine in town.
