The tumulus features interesting architecture crowned by a monolithic stone sarcophagus.

This 100 m² Thracian complex (Храм в могила Оструша) from the 4th century BC served as a burial complex and temple before being ceremonially buried a century later. The mound has interesting architecture crowned by a monolithic stone sarcophagus that was studied in 1993 and has been on display under a shelter ever since. It is a must-see during your visit to the city. It is a nice change from other historical relics and discoveries. Will please the whole family.
